Résumé

Le présent mémoire a comme principal sujet de recherche l'utilisation du benchmarking au processus de fonctionnement d'une entreprise oeuvrant dans le milieu de la construction. Dans une idée d'étude plus précise, le benchmarking sera utilisé pour le domaine de la construction spécialisée. Ce mémoire explique un concept utilisé pour fvoriser un meilleur rendement et une meilleure méthode de production autant pour une usine lors de la fabrication de l'item que pour un chantier lors de l'installation de ce
dernier. Il démontre qu'il est possible d'avoir des changements dans les processus existants de fabrication d'une entreprise oeuvrant dans le domaine de la construction. De plus, il permet d'identifier où il faut effectuer les modifications afin d'améliorer sa compétitivité sur le marché de la concurrence de la construction spécialisée. Il propose l'utilisation concrète du benchmarking à un entrepreneur spécialisé ayant son usine de fabrication de son produit livré. En conclusion, il est possible d'utiliser le benchmarking par les entrepreneurs spécialisés ayant une usine. Il faut déterminer où le benclimarking
peut être utilisé dans les processus existants de production pour en retirer des bénéfices tant pour son utilisateur, l'entrepreneur spécialisé, que ses clients.

The present document has for main research subject the use of the benchmarking in the process of functioning of a company working in the construction environment. In an idea of more precise study, the benchmarking will be used for the domain of the specialized construction. This work explains a concept used to facilitate a better return and a better method of production both for a specialized construction factory during the manufacturing of items and for a construction site during the installation on a jobsite. This research about the benchmarking demonstrates that it is possible to have changes in the existing processes of manufacturing of a company and where the company has to apply the tool of benchmarking to improve its competitiveness on the market of the competition of the construction. This research proposes the concrete use of the benclimarking to a specialized contractor having her own factory of manufacturing of her delivered product. In conclusion, it is possible to use the benchmarking by the specialized entrepreneurs having a factory. It is necessary to determine where the benchmarking can be used in the existing processes of production to have profits for both users the specialized contractor and his customers.
